What is the Three Stories High Festival you ask? Well, let me just tell you! The festival, put on by Purdue Convocations, is a collection of intriguing shows which range from 60 to 90 minutes in length. Not interested yet? J&C (Lafayette Journal&Courrier) says the festival… ” will transform downtown Lafayette into a big-city theater district for five days.” Now doesn’t that sound like the excitement you’ve been looking for?
Oh? You’re still not interested in participating? That’s because I forgot to mention what shows are coming to town! First up is “The Cardinals”-a play of puppeteers. Next in line is “The Adventures of Alvin Sputnik: Deep Sea Explorer”- a story conveyed through music, puppetry, and animation. Last, but not least is “No Place to Go”- a story done through song and speech by the Ethan Lipton Orchestra.
If you’re busy this weekend, that’s okay! Purdue Convocations always has something fun and entertaining going on, so be sure to check their calander. I certainly do! If you’re not busy, Three Stories High Festival is this week and weekend so don’t miss all the excitement right in downtown Lafayette!
Who doesn’t love a celebration? Especially when you throw in some cowboy hats, attractive voices, and attractive country music stars.

If music makes you “Lose Control” and you’re ready for a blog that follows suit, you’ve come to the right place. Now, this blog won’t be your typical droning on and on about the lives of the rich and famous with voices equivalent to angels, although those things are interesting and may be mentioned…
This is where you come to find new and upcoming events in Lafayette and surrounding areas, flashbacks to the music we loved and events we waited in line for hours to buy tickets for, and all the random, upbeat, slow-dance, high-pitched, low-key things you need to know about music and why most can’t live without it.
So, if you’re ready, “Let’s Get it Started.” Get out of your seat and on your feet, and sing along, because THIS is “Where It’s At.” And by “this” I mean a musical blog that will knock your socks off and get your heart aching for music.
